We are a ranch family of 4 that loves the outdoors and spending time with our animals. We homeschool and love raising dogs that fill a purpose of loyalty and protection for other families. We have 20+ years of experience training and breeding horses and dogs All of our dogs are raised in our home with children and exposed to everything on our ranch including chickens, cats, horses, other dogs, equipment, vehicles and as many noises and experiences as possible.
OUR FAMILY + BRAND
Our logo may just look like a letter and some lines but it is so much more than that. For years I have wanted a brand that symbolized "Rising" since all of our horses have Rising in their name and I feel like we are all on this journey to Rise up to something more. When we started looking we leaned towards a capital R but since researching brands I felt something with a C for our last name was more appropriate. So I put in for 2 brands, one with the R and one with a C and the branding board found an issue with both so while on the phone I was reviewing the abandoned brands and came across one I thought would look good on our horses so I gave the number to the lady helping me and she said it was called a "Rising C". Well there you have it!!! PERFECT!! A brand that combines both!!!
Y'all there are 250+ pages of abandoned brands and this is the one I was drawn to. I think someone had their hand in it so it was meant to be. This symbol is not only on the left shoulder of all our horses, that not only is important to show ownership but also means so much to our family. It also represents my husband's company Rising C Trucking and my Cane Corso program. God is good and I am so grateful for this amazing journey. We were created by a rising Christ so this symbolizes his plan for us and his presence in all we do. # LausDeo
THE PROCESS + WHAT TO EXPECT

Our dogs are health tested and have full DNA screening for 256 possible risks.

Several have their AKC CGC, CGCU & CGCA titles.

Puppies come with a 24-month health guarantee.
​

Tails are docked and dew claws are done by 3 days old.
​

Puppies are dewormed every 2 weeks and given 3 vaccinations before leaving.

We start house training at 3 1/2 weeks.
​

We use a recall every time we feed the puppies so they can be called even before they know their name, are alone or with their litter.

We start crate training each puppy at 4 weeks of age and when they go home they are sleeping through the night with no messes.

We start obedience training at 4 weeks requiring each puppy to sit for attention.

We evaluate each puppy at 6 weeks to help match them with the purpose each client has for their dog. We look at temperament, confidence, dominance/submission, reaction to loud noise, and new location and food drive.

Puppies are bathed, nails trimmed, and exposed to new stimuli regularly.

At 8 weeks of age, puppies are ready to go to their forever homes. We provide lifetime breeder support that includes training guidelines and videos to help you have the best relationship with your puppy.
OUR PROGRAM
Here at Rising C we utilize the AKC CGC certification program as a standard for our training program and encourage our clients to participate as well. We have secured 17 CGC CGCU CGCA Titles for our dogs and have well over 20 titles in our entire program. We feel achieving this milestone shows the temperament we have bred for and versatility of our lines. This program is also a great way to set our dogs up for success no matter where their purpose leads them as a therapy, service, companion or working dog.
